Dirty Bomb Rehearsal In London

Space War have published an article by Tatyana Sinitsyna of UPI, pointing out the interpretation of the Litvinenko assassination which views the event as a demonstration of the capability to deliver a dirty bomb in London. It is interesting how little attention this view has gained. This interpretation of events was the subject of an angry Charlie Stross rant on November 28.

International Fusion Reactor Consortium

New Scientist report that representatives from China, the European Union, India, Japan, Russia, South Korea and the United States signed a pact to build a fusion reactor. The EU will put up 50% of the cost and the reactor will be built in Cardache in Southern France. (More ….)

India test-fires battlefield nuclear-capable missile

The indian Defence Research and Development Organization have test fired a battlefield nuclear capable missile shortly after a similar test by Pakistan. The Prithvi II should take 300 seconds to travel 150 km (90 miles) to target. [Source:Reuters] (More ….)
